About
Jill Daniels MS, RD, CSSD
Jill's passion for learning more about how food affects energy levels, athletic performance, moods and the mind began when she played volleyball at University of California, Riverside. While there, she earned a First Team All-American award and helped the team win a National Championship. She loves helping people figure out how they can feel and perform their best, whether it's on the field, at the gym, at school, work or home. In her free time, Jill enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, swimming, playing beach volleyball, and going on new adventures. She travels to Punta Gorda, Belize every year on short-term mission trips to show the love of God to a community of kids and their families that stole her heart over 15 years ago.
Jill has a Master's Degree in Nutritional Science and is a board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics. She is also a certified Intuitive Eating counselor, having trained with the authors of the ground-breaking book, Intuitive Eating, Evelyn Tribole, MS, RDN, CEDRD-S and Elyse Resch, MS, RDN, CEDRD-S. (visit the Intuitive Eating website for more details and resources.) Jill has been featured on both television and radio, namely KCBS TV, and 101.7 KKIQ.
Jill has an extensive background working with clients on sports nutrition, weight concerns and disordered eating. She has counseled thousands of people, helping them to achieve better health, improve athletic performance, increase their energy levels and experience a more peaceful relationship with food. She takes a non-diet approach and incorporates Health at Every Size principles. Jill loves hearing people’s stories and joining them on their journey in figuring out what works best for them.
